Cartoon Animation in Adobe After Affects

Adobe Consequences could be the professional video effects tool of the video television and movie industry. Consequences (AE) also offers plenty of plugin softwares that even enhance its performance to a different level. I came across this ability of AE when I was trying to produce simple cartoons animation videos to create them to YouTube.com. Now that I have AE 6.5 but was looking for another product that can make cartoon videos easily. The idea of cartoon movie making is that you draw consecutive pictures of specific motion 29 frames per second (FPS) or 25 fps or 15fps. which means for a 1second movie you'll need to draw 29 or 25 or 15 pictures. Proper those (29, 25 or 15 pictures) are shown per second basis you can see a moving picture.

The film industry has more advanced tools that help them make those 25 pictures of motion for a 1 second movie. Imagine the quantity of pictures required to produce 5 minutes of movie: 25x60x5 = 7500 pictures. It is indeed a quite difficult task drawing dozens of pictures taking care to create a smooth motion out of those pictures (pics). That is why an animation movie costs big money to produce. Even as we saw above, to create a cartoon movie consecutive drawings of motion are necessary. And to achieve that you'll need to see your previous picture as a reference so you might know what changes you can make on the present picture. There is a drawing pad used for such purpose where the very first picture can be viewed if you are doing the 2nd. This way you can make the changes in drawing of the next picture. This way you can easily do your cartoon easily. The principle is that you'll require to really have a reference of the last picture if you are drawing the present picture.

This is how you make your cartoon with after effects. Open AE and create a new composition (composition > new). Then create a solid (layer > new > solid). Apply vector paint from the effects and preset window by dragging and dropping the result to the solid in the timeline. You can adjust the brush size by holding ctrl down left click and hold and moving it in any direction changes how big is brush. Make it appropriate size. In the vector paint menu under brush settings > playback mode choose onion skin from the drop down menu. And click on options. Change the numbers in the backward and forward box to 1 and 0 respectively. These numbers indicate the amount of visible consecutive pictures above and below your overall drawing.

Then start drawing your picture in the format you want 15 fps or above or below. Here note that AE will not allow more than one undo so be careful once you make your drawing. Once you do your first picture click on the next frame from the full time controls menu which is within the mid right section.

Then start doing the second picture. Here you Can notice that the first picture is observed as a Background. So use that as a reference to help make the necessary changes in the second picture. And once you make the 3rd picture the second one becomes a background and so on. This way you can animate your cartoon and play it back again to review. Once you play back, differ from onion skin to current frame in the playback mode of the vector paint menu.

Now that this is actually the basic idea and you could add your creativity by the addition of background images and other effects to produce it much more attractive. Also you might check the present version of AE. There can be much more advanced tools that assist you to even more. Also Ulead's Videographics lab has similar functions. might be even better.

HOUR 5767 and also Near future during NORTH AMERICA Established Online Gambling

Ron Paul and Barney Frank introduced bill HR 5767 in order to prohibit the US government to ban online gambling in the United States, this after the introduction of the actual ban itself called the UIGEA (Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act). The bill recently came to vote in the US government and lost. Its aim was to stop this ban and have the US government regulate national gambling, which will subsequently generate billions in revenue for the federal government over the length of a decade.

It's quite shocking and sad to observe that the bill did not pass in congress. First of all, the bill would have been a great help to the already damaged US economy while the revenues the federal government regulation would bring into the federal government come in the billions over the length of 10 years, and that's just the start. Another positive truth is that when the bill were to possess passed, the federal government would be able to successfully, or improve its monitoring on US citizens making bets online, as the existing situation clearly states that Americans continue to be gambling despite the fact that there surely is a current ban on internet gambling operations, and that the UIGEA law has failed. It's much better for the federal government to regulate and stop impeding Americans to gamble online than to ban the whole process altogether and fail in the ban itself while not taking in revenues from online gambling operations.

The bill was refused simply because of the Las Vegas entrepreneurs and operators lobbying the federal government in order to succeed in the ban because of the reasoning that since Americans will not be able to gamble online mega388, where else than Vegas to produce bets, wagers, and have a great time generally, therefore promoting tourism and economic activity in the city.

The long run is fairly grim after HR 5767 didn't pass as now the ban remains, and Americans will not be able to gamble online, at the very least for quite a long time until another bill like that one comes to the senate floor for discussion. It would have been better for the federal government to lift the ban, and promote the Las Vegas entrepreneurs to compete with one another on the internet than to ban the gambling operation and stop from gaining billions in taxes and earnings from regulation.

In places like the majority of European countries, this type of gambling is now acceptable, and has grown in staggering popularity. Governments take in revenue from online gambling operations, and punters are happy performing bets online in fair regulated markets. USA based casino operators should learn from these already successful ways of gambling operation s and try to promote it in their particular country rather than trying to impede it in order to make their clients go in a real manner with their casinos. It's much cheaper and much more efficient to possess online virtual portals than to spend billions in physical infrastructure.
